So, who are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate software developer who is eager to work with innovative and skilled colleagues and wants to be part of a journey towards the next generation of our world class automated test systems.
Delivering reliable products with top quality is key for us at Westermo. At the same time, we need new products and features to reach our customers with short lead time. Therefor we invest a lot in test automation and tools to make automation as easy as possible.
As a developer of the Test Framework & Tools at Westermo you will be part of a team who is responsible for our Test Framework & Tools used for system level testing of network solutions based on our products. We think about automation in everything we do, and we are constantly trying out new techniques that can help us fulfill current and future demands.
Our in-house developed test framework and the echo system around it automates every step from code check in to visualization of test results. This includes tools for execution of tests, mapping of test cases on physical and virtual test systems, selection of tests and graphical visualization of test results.
We are currently working with the next generation of our Test framework and Tools to meet future demands on scalability and reduced complexity for end users. While doing that we will change the main programming language from Python to Go, focus on scaling test capabilities by using virtualization with docker and Kubernetes and redesign web interfaces for configurations and visualizations of test results.

The main part of your work will be done at our R&D office in Västerås where most of our skilled Software R&D personnel are already waiting for you to become part of our team.
Minimum Requirements
• Academic degree or adequate work experience
• Experienced in working with Linux
• Programming skills in general
• Very good knowledge in Swedish and English both written & spoken

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in programming with Python and/or Go
• Experience with techniques and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins and Web Development in general
