The company is now expanding at their site in the city of Umeå Sweden, and have open positions for Software developers for Embedded systems.
About the position
You will develop high technology solutions within 4G and 5G together with the customers in close cooperation with colleagues in Agile Scrum teams worldwide.
As a SW developer, you will be challenged in your problem-solving and analytical skills. You will develop the very latest technology in telecommunications. This includes further development of the 4G network as well as new development of the 5G network.
The development process is characterised by abstract programming, which makes it appealing to you who are motivated by methodical working methods such as; Break down problems, analyze, programming, testing and documentation of the results. The role spans a broad contact network where you will have contact with other developer colleagues, architects and system administrators to solve your and the team's tasks.
Your qualifications
• Degree in Computer science or closely related field that have C/C++ programming language included, at Bachelor or Master level. Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics including programming is also suitable educations for this position.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Professional experience in software development
• Courses in Radiocommunication and Signaling are meritorious.
This position will also be a good fit for a developer background within Automotive- or Defense industry regarding embedded time critical systems.
Personal skills
To succed in this position you will have to be persistent and have a genuin wish to learn. You will also have to be analytical and patient in your mindset when confronting a problem or challenge. Identifying errors and the root cause with troubleshooting, analysis and testing takes quite a time, weeks or even months. This is where patience and persistence is one key factor to be fit for this position.
