Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a skilled software developer to help us build the applications in Ericsson's 5G Core network, connecting mobile devices around the world to the internet.
Together with a few colleagues, you would form a small cross-functional development team working with feature development, where tasks include requirement analysis, system design, development, and verification. As a team, you take ownership for your feature from analysis to delivery and beyond!
In addition to having solid software development skills, we also hope you would be interested in taking on the role of Scrum Master in the development team, or taking the lead in system analysis, understanding the 3GPP standard, breaking down requirements and designing feature behavior. Experience from either of these roles is an advantage, but not necessary. Each team also has a security master staying up to date on the latest threats and recommendations in the security area!
You will
Develop high-quality software meeting telecom standards
Analyze requirements and propose software designs
Analyze verification needs and develop test cases validating your design
Develop test case automation
Execute tests, find, and fix faults
Share information with team and product owner in scrum ceremonies

To be successful in the role you must have
Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering or similar field
Mad skills in software development, preferably using Erlang or other functional languages!
Experience of large-scale software development projects
Experience of agile development and the Scrum framework
Knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, HTTP2, TCP/IP, Linux, Containers
