Kollmorgen is a global company which develops motion control and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and works with customers in many different industries all over the world.
Kollmorgen Automation AB is a part of Kollmorgen and we have our headquarter in Mölndal, Sweden and with offices in the US and China. The target is to provide world leading technology for the rapidly growing market of AGVs and Mobile Robots. About 120 employees are working with product development, professional services, sales, marketing and finance.
Department and the team
As a Software Developer in C# you will be a part of our R&D department consisting of about 50 engineers working within embedded systems, system software as well as windows applications and web services. In this position, you will be a part of the Tools Team, which today consists of 11 people - five Software Developers, one UX, one Product Owner, one Product Manager, two Software Quality Assurance Engineers and one System Architect. They are responsible for developing and maintaining tools for system design, configuration and diagnostics.
About the position
As a Software Developer in C# you will develop applications in C#, more specifically the tools for user interactions and interface. You will create and maintain desktop applications used by people involved in the in the design, commissioning and operation phase of a mobile robot system. It is good if you do not mind divide your time working with tools based on C++ MFC, Windows Forms .NET C# or WPF, .NET. SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is the main process for product development.
We are looking for you
who have been working mainly with C# for around five years or more. You have a bachelor's or master's degree related to programming, but of course, most important is your work experience after your education. We consider it a strong merit if you have knowledge from C++ and/or WPF and experience of an agile way of working. You must be fluent in English, both verbal and written. You are curios as a person and realize that openness and self-awareness are obvious ingredients in cross-functional teams.

• Educational background within software development
• Around five years of experience working with software development, mainly within C#
• Fluent in English
Meritorious
• Experience in Windows application development
• Knowledge in C++
• Knowledge of WPF
• Agile way of working
