In the Volvo Construction Equipment Advanced Engineering & Core Technology organization (AE&CT) we are driven by the purpose to develop world leading solutions that can be shared in an efficient way between different products. The department Intelligent Machine Platforms are now looking for a talented developer for the role Software developer to join us on this exciting journey and contribute to our important work.
The Intelligent Machine Platform department is globally responsible for development of advanced operator assistance systems and enablers in automation solutions for construction area. This will include everything from safety assistance system, Apps to monitor and improve operator and site productivity, to semi-autonomous features and remote-controlled machines. The development will be driven in close cooperation with other departments in Volvo CE and Volvo Group
As a software developer you will join an inspiring development team and develop various functions and participate in the complete lifecycle of functions in our area and make sure that our development teams create as much customer value as possible. You will work closely with different stakeholders as well as the development teams in an agile way of working. You will have the possibility to learn and develop new skills together with the team.
You are a positive person with an eager to learn new areas and have easy to collaborate within the team to unify towards a common goal. You also have a good knowledge and experience in Agile methods and ways of working and always strive for continuous improvements. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge in tools like Jira, Git, Android Studio and tools within the GNU toolchain.
