Are you experienced Software Developer seeking to expand your experience in a high-tech environment? Biolin Scientific are now looking for a Software Developer to their development team. You will be working on products used by top universities and major companies globally.
Job description
In this position, your tasks will focus on working in a software team supporting several software products in their instrument portfolio. This includes developing software managing the instruments, presenting data from measurements and developing software tools to analyse data.
The essence of the job will be to satisfy Biolin Scientific's instrument users by providing functional, robust, and easy-to-use software. It will help to have an understanding of the physics behind the measurement principles, mathematical modelling, etc., but also an awareness of the needs of users and how they want to be able to interact with the instruments. This understanding should be the basis on which a user-friendly software suite is built.

Qualifications
BSc/MSc in software engineering or equivalent
A few years of work experience working as a software developer in a high-tech environment
Solid skills in Python, Java or C++ and willingness to learn new programming languages and tools as needed
Willingness to work both independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to learn and work on old code bases, as well as create new ones
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
Experience within following areas is of additional merit:
Building user-friendly Desktop GUIs
Scrum process and continuous integration
A genuine interest in signal processing, image processing, scientific computing & numerical analysis
