Software Developer with multi-threading and financial experience.

As a Startup High Frequency Trading Firm we are looking for an experienced software developer with multi-threading and financial experience to join our trading team.
Your position will be to design, build and test market data systems.

Job Description/Role:
Design, code, test and provide production support for development projects for the options market.
Candidate will review system requirements, design a solution to meet those requirements, code and test the solution using standard software engineering practices. Also provide production support once system is delivered to production environment, document design, test plan and production.
On Your position, you will participate in all areas of the system development process to deliver new and enhanced functionality to all existing options systems.
Responsibilities include requirements review, systems design and architecture, coding and testing and production support.
On Your position you will also work closely with businesses to identify

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or its equivalent
• C/C++ programming skills and development in a Linux environment.
• Network programming including unicast and multicast messaging.
• Interprocess communication.
• Experience designing multi-threaded programming and applications.
• 1 to 4 years programming experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding of exchange protocols and financial products a plus
• Python scripting skills
• Financial markets experience (trading systems, market data systems, FIX, etc.), especially in derivatives markets.
