Sidec AB provides solutions to visualize protein interactions and conformations, based on the company's proprietary 3-D reconstruction technology and electron tomography. With headquarters in Stockholm and regional offices in London UK, San Diego and Rockville USA, Sidec offers contract research for analysis of drug targets as well as therapeutic proteins, for basic research and drug discovery applications.
Sidec is developing cutting edge technology for 3D reconstruction and visualisation of protein molecules using electron microscopy data. Our development team consists of mathematicians, physicists, biochemists and software developers. All of Sidec's advanced solutions for 3D reconstructions and visualisation is implemented in our own proprietary software solutions using agile programming methods combined with advanced project management.
Software Developer
We are now looking for individuals that can strengthen our development team with system architectural and software development skills. Preferred background should be a solid education from engineering or computer science and a genuine interest for software development and science.

Requirements:
• C/C++ experience
• Experience with object oriented design
• Engineering diploma or equivalent
• Good English language skills
Meriting, either of:
• GUI design
• Experience from the medical imaging field
• SCRUM/agile programming methods
• VTK/ITK/Boost experience
• Image analysis and 3D visualisation
• Numerical analysis
