Development Unit (DU) Core and IMS is an R&D organization within Business Unit Networks that secures the development of leading-edge core network products (Mobile, Wireline, IMS, User Management), as well as securing technology and architecture evolution of existing network solutions.
DU Core & IMS is providing our customer Circuit Switched and IP Multimedia networks solutions that promote our customers' business growth by enabling them to offer superior services at competitive cost. We develop Core products and solutions.
IMS offers a standardized way to deliver convenient IP-based consumer and enterprise services to fixed, mobile and cable community - enabled by one common core and control.
It is the cornerstone of the evolution of current networks to a single, all-IP based network where all types of services (4G/LTE, messaging, telephony, etc.) and media (voice, video, pictures, text etc.) can be integrated into a single user experience.
Our feature design capabilities stretch over a number of IMS products, primarily Multimedia Telephony Application Server, MTAS.
We are currently located south of Stockholm at TN (Telefonplan) and are moving to Kista in October.

We work in Cross-functional teams where everyone is flexible to perform several tasks (design, function test, system test and system management) to develop features in the most efficient way.
We are looking for several SW Developers, experienced or inexperienced, who will be working with the MTAS product using C++, Java and TTCN as the programming languages in Linux environment. If you graduated this year, your initial tasks will be test design and test automation. If you are experienced, there are several possibilities. Over time we expect you to take on several roles.
MTAS is mandatory in Ericsson's Voice Over LTE and Multimedia telephony solution, thus the number of customers and active subscribers using MTAS are growing rapidly.
You should be genuinely interested in all aspects of software development, since we expect you to take on various roles over time.

Qualifications
BSc in Computer science or equivalent
More than two years of experience of object oriented development
Additional Merits
Programming languages: TTCN, Java, C++, Other scripting languages
Domain Knowledge: IMS, SIP, Voice over IP, Diameter, H.248
Development Environment: TSP/Dicos/Linux
Other skills: test design and test automation
