Purpose of the Job
Development of Amino's IPTV and OTT products. Amino are offering an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with knowledge of, and an interest in the next generation TV. Together with the existing team, You will develop software for Amino's products where internet and IPTV will converge into a new medium full of possibilities to express creativity as well as technical prowess.
The development team in Stockholm is now looking for a gifted developer who wants to get an even better insight into streaming media, IPTV and OTT as well as learning from an experienced team.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
• Software design & development for our IPTV and OTT products.
• Technical investigations and pre-studies for planning and roadmap.
• 2nd line support for customer projects.
• Maintenance of existing products.
• Support development of customer specific solutions.
Reporting Relationships
• The role reports to the Software Development Manager in Sweden.
Working Relationships
• SW/HW Developers, both local and cross-sites.
• Product and Project Management, Customer Support.
• We are using the Scrum development methodology.
Personality Profile
• Proactive, "can do" attitude.
• Self-starter - must be able to take on responsibility and manage own time.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Able to cope with a fast pace of customer requirements and technology change.
Special Job Requirements
• Embedded SW development experience
• Strong C programming skills
• Experience of developing under and for LINUX is highly desirable
• Understanding of video pipelines, including kernel level drivers is desirable.
• Understanding of network protocols mainly TCP/IP.
• Experience of set top box technology is desirable.
• Device Driver Development is desirable.
• Understanding of Graphics pipelines and HW acceleration is desirable.
