Looking to deliver increased customer focus, enhanced business collaboration and the adoption of a new DevOps operating model with end-to-end ownership of technology solutions across the organisation.
This is a chance to have a real tangible impact within a global business and see how your work directly contributes to the shape of our technological future. You will be empowered to make a true difference, not only for Mölnlycke, but also for patients and health care professionals across the globe.
We are looking to grow our full stack development team with a Software Developer (Frontend Web Developer) focused on Angular development, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will play a key role in designing and building high-quality, responsive web interfaces for global customer solutions, using agile and DevOps methodologies.
Location: This role requires commuting to our Gothenburg office 3 days per week. You will work from our new location at GoCo Health Innovation City in Mölndal-one of the most attractive workplaces in the area.
About the role:
As a Software Developer on the Mölnlycke Portal team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the user interface of our global customer portal for our business area Operating Room Solutions. You'll work in a cross-functional team with end-to-end accountability for solution discovery, development, architecture, and operations. Your main focus will be building scalable, responsive, and user-centric web applications using Angular.
Key responsibilities for the role:
Develop and maintain the frontend of Mölnlycke Portal with a focus on creating seamless user experiences using Angular.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional and responsive web interfaces.
Work with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth data flow between frontend and backend systems.
Contribute to the solution architecture, ensuring designs are flexible, reusable, and compliant with privacy, security, and business requirements.
Promote best coding practices, ensuring robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
Participate in DevOps activities, including deployment pipelines, monitoring, and incident management to support the full software lifecycle.
Build team dynamics, promote communication and collaboration within team and with partners.
If all that sounds appealing, then here is what we would like you to demonstrate:
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of frontend development experience with a strong emphasis on Angular.
Experience of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience working in agile teams with exposure to DevOps methodologies.
We value team members who take initiative, bring forward innovative ideas, and assume ownership of delivering high-quality solutions.
Additional experience we see as a benefit for the role:
Full stack development experience with .NET.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs or GraphQL.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially Azure) and tools like Elastic.
Experience with global web solutions or eCommerce platforms.
What can we offer you?
Be part of the development and execution of our global IT and Digital Enablement strategy, including digital vision, mission, and innovation roadmap.
Make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector through digital solutions that improve customer and healthcare professional experiences.
Work with modern technologies, primarily Angular for frontend development, and gain exposure to JavaScript, .NET, API-based architecture, cloud services, and AI/ML technologies.
Competitive benefits package: annual bonus, pension plan, health insurance, and wellness contribution.
Flexible working hours and a supportive work-from-home policy.
A collaborative environment with friendly colleagues in a global organization that values openness, fairness, and teamwork.
