Who we are
We are the Material Handling Application Department, and we are responsible to develop and deliver software to underground material handling products, i.e., Scooptrams and Minetrucks. The department consist of several dedicated agile development teams working together. The teams are specialized in different areas and are all contributing to a common software release.
We develop new functionalities, from concept to realization, maintenance of our products as well as test and simulation. In the agile teams, we work together with committed colleagues where we share the responsibility of the realization of requirements.

Your team
We are now strengthening the AutoTram team with software developers and currently looking for both senior and junior candidates.
The mission of the AutoTram team is to develop software for autonomous driving and related functionalities, specifically for use in underground mining. Our team includes specialists in autonomous operation and control theory, such as tramming, mapping, localization, navigation, route generation, path planning, and driver assistant functions. Our team includes members with various backgrounds and levels of experience, from Ph.D.'s with research experience to junior developers.

Your profile
We are currently seeking both senior and junior candidates for the position. If you hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, control theory, robotics, engineering, or another relevant field, and have experience in embedded C++ programming, we would like to hear from you. You should also have an interest in autonomous machines and a passion for creating high-quality solutions for customers.
As a curious and collaborative team player, you take an active role in team challenges and discussions, enjoy learning, and rise to challenges in a supportive environment. For senior candidates, we are looking for individuals with a master's degree or Ph.D. in control theory, robotics, computer science, engineering, or another relevant area, and experience in autonomous driving, such as machine control, mapping, localization, navigation, or path planning. You should have worked in either academia or industry and be able to take the lead in realizing new initiatives.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, you understand stakeholder requests and are capable of translating them into practical solutions. If you meet these requirements and are passionate about solving real-world challenges, we encourage you to apply.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
