Are you passionate about software development?

Do you want to develop the test framework for our complete vehicle Hardware In the Loop (HIL) rig?

Do you want to work with the big picture, but still dive down into the details?

Then you are the person we are looking for at the System Automation Environment group. We are responsible for developing and maintaining HIL - rig systems (Hardware In the Loop). In order to be able to test the vehicle's software in the rig, we use one of the world's largest HIL systems that supports a large number of truck and bus configurations. The purpose of HIL is to trick the system and its component parts into believing it is executing in a real vehicle with all its dynamics. This is achieved using real-time execution of environmental models.

Your task
In the team one of your tasks is to develop and maintain the test framework. In order for the test environment to be suitable for the tests, we have developed tool chains for test automation and results analysis. These rigs are used for software tests on complete vehicle level and on system level, and they are essential for our embedded software developers. In the group we are responsible that the test environment are updated with new technology to support coming projects for example for electrification and autonomous vehicles. Another of your tasks is to further develop the HIL concept into a modular platform that can support Scania's functional growth.

As a software developer of our HIL platform you will gain a broad understanding of Scania's vehicles systems and functions. You will also work cross functional and get a broad network.

With us, innovation is important, and we work on continuous improvements. You will already from the start be able to adopt and shape the group's working methods.

Your profile
You are a person with good communication skills who likes to drive things forward together with others. You are a graduate engineer with experience of programming. You will preferably have experience of Python, C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, MongoDb and SQL server or equivalent. Experience of working on automated test systems, preferably from DSpace and or NI, and agile methods are advantages.

A requirement is a class B driving licence.

You haven't any problems expressing yourself fluently both verbally and in writing in English. Knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage.
