MVV was founded in 1990 as a software company with focus on balancing manufacturing processes. We also have a fast growing consulting company with approximately 60 employees and a broad experience in both product and production development. Primarily, MVV:s customers are in the areas of automotive, oil/gas and robotics/automation.
To suit the role as a consultant at MVV, we believe that you are positive, driven and outgoing. Since almost all of our assignments are on site it is important to be humble and able to listen to the customer's needs. You are also independent and solution-oriented.
Position description:
We are fulfilling our obligations by collecting data from the customer cars, over the air. This data is then organized and processed in a cloud environment and subsequently made available to the organization, who require quick answers organized and formatted properly.
We try to have holistic view, where we enthuse the organisation about the possibilities of the work we do.
We work in an agile, dev-ops team to be able to take ownership of the area and keep impressing the organisation.
This is a part of the companys primary goal of knowledge driven development, knowing what the driver wants, and understand how people integrate with our vehicles, in order to develop safer, more environmentally sound and more attractive cars. This awards us considerable attention within the company.
Who are you?
We are looking for a professional, eager coder or data engineer with enough experience to be able to organize his work along the lines of various industrial agile practices.
The candidates that we are looking for want to bring their knowledge and experience to bear, enthusiasticly pointing out opportunities, and not being afraid to stand up. The right personality will count for a lot and a good fit for a team that always want to run forward is essential. For this reason we also think that a measure of experience in industrial coding is necessary, to be able to keep up with discussions and add value directly. A professional mindset is also key, as we need to deliver what the organization needs, not what we like to do.
Meritorious Skills:
• You have solid experience with best practice in an industrial programming setting
• An enthusiastic, confident personality
• Industrial experience of agile methodologies
• Solid experience and of and love for cloud technologies, Spark, Hadoop, massively scalable databases, formation (ansible)
• Information modeling
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery and an operational mindset
