hela Sverige Ericsson in Linköping focuses on the development of radio network control within mobile systems. The unit is responsible for several central parts of Ericsson's mobile systems, and coordinates and leads the development of Ericsson organizational units all over the world. The development departments in Linköping also work with the next generation of mobile systems, products for residential mobile broadband, operations & maintenance systems, simulators and test plants for the delivery of products. The Linköping unit also carries out research for mobile networks of the future. We are now expanding, and are looking for both experienced staff and new graduates with a lot of drive within the following area.
Job Description
You will be working with improving Ericsson's world class GSM/EDGE/OSS/LTE systems. The job includes system analysis, function design and SW design. You will be involved in both maintenance activities towards our end customers and development of software in C/C++, Java and/or Plex. The work also includes cooperation with Ericsson units worldwide.
The successful candidate is a team player who enjoys an environment where you can work with, and gain knowledge of, the entire product offering. The SW designer is keen to solve problems as they arise and do so creatively. Experience in every phase of product development from design and implementation to testing is desirable.
It is important that you as SW designer enjoy working both independently and especially in teams, with focus on reaching result on time, with quality.
Who are you?
Qualification:
• Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent formal education with experience in software programming.
Requested competence:
• Proven design experience with C, C++ and/or Java.
• Good English communication skills and analytical capacity.
• Ability to work in teams but also ability to take initiative and work independently when needed. Important skills are creativity, flexibility, accuracy and perseverance.
• Have an interest to constantly learn and share your new findings.
• You should be familiar with working both in Windows and UNIX development environment.
• Experience in database design and implementation is good but not a requirement.
