Are you the new Software Configuration Manager in the ABBs development organization in Malmö? We are currently looking for a new member of the CM team.
The CM team is an important part of the development organization that delivers control parts of 800xA as well as the next generation Automation Products from ABB.
You will be part both in the local organization managing the local ongoing development project as well as part of the global CM community at ABB delivering the complete automation system.
The development organization consists of 80 software engineers in Malmö and in the global organization about 500 engineers.
Your responsibilities
CM strategy and branch strategy.
Maintain the Continuous Integration flow.
Version management.
Package and distribution management.
Create scripts and make tool adaptations.
Continue to develop the CM processes.
CM related tools: Microsoft Azure DevOps, OpenText, Sharepoint, Teams.
Programming in some of the common scripting languages such as Python, Shell script, etc.
Your background
We believe that you have been working as a DevOps Engineer or Software Configuration manager for 3-5 years.
You could also have a background as developer but have the interest to go into the DevOps role.
You hold a master or bachelor's degree in computer science or similar.
