Your workplace
Electronic Defence Systems, a business area of Saab, is one of the world's premier suppliers of solutions for surveillance, avionics and systems to detect, locate and protect against threat.
In Operations Järfälla we develop and produce different products within the electronic warfare and radar.
We are now looking for a competent employee to our Configuration Management team which supports the entire Järfälla site.
Your role
As SW Configuration Manager (SW CM) you will be working in a central position in our projects and have a good overview of our SW development and verification.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Build and deliver SW systems as well as to maintain these
• Be responsible for our branching strategy and continue to develop our SW CM strategy
• Develop our SW environment and tools by automation and scripting
• Plan and implement the CM work in the projects and the organization
• Create and maintain the product structure and the corresponding documentation
• Drive and follow up changes to the products and make sure the changes are implemented and the supporting documentation is maintained
• Train and give support to the projects and the organization within the CM area
Part of your role is also to participate in the continued development of our work.
Your qualifications
You have a college degree or likewise and have worked with SW CM for at least three years.
You are fluent in English, both written and orally.
You are result-oriented and well organized in your work. You enjoy multi-tasking and cope well with working in a high pressure environment. You have an interest in building systems and automation through scripting. It is an advantage if you have prior experience from an open source project.
You are self-driven and have the skills to convince and engage the organization in getting the information regarding the products and the supporting documentation ready on time with high quality.
