Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Configuration Manager for our projects at Volvo Group Telematics/WirelessCar.
As Software Configuration Manager you support the application development and maintenance activities with CM processes and directions, versioning and change management tools and surveillance over the life cycle of the artifacts to ensure traceability, reproducibility and quality assurance. This applies for in-house developed as well as bought software.
Key responsibilities:
• Interact with the customer and different roles in the development team to establish the configuration management strategy, and document it in the Configuration Management Plan
• In cooperation with the Application Software Architect decide on a file and directory structure and hierarchies in order to provide an efficient means of storing and accessing the entities required
• In cooperation with the Application Software Architect establish the build procedure and establish the internal and delivery baselines
• Advocate the interests and importance of software configuration management, including an appropriate level of naming standards
• Report progress statistics based on change requests
Qualifications:
To qualify to this position you need to have at least 5 years documented experience from working with software configuration management tools and High availability design in complex system with many autonomous clients.
Experience from working with the process of Continous build and deploy is a demand and experience from the telecom and/or vehicle industry and product lines is an advantage.

You are proactive and have a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve your knowledge. You are a good communicator and have deep presentations skills. You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
