We are looking for a Software Asset Manager to our client within the automotive industry. This is a longterm assignment, where you will be an important part of the Competence Center, delivering generic and scalable services & capabilities, to several of the affiliated companies in Europe.
Within digital ability & engagement department, the Competence Center delivers IT Asset Management services to these companies. Currently, there are a large intake of new customers and services and therefore, we are looking for a Software Asset Manager to expand the IT Asset team.
The Software Asset Manager will be responsible of securing that software, is used in line with current agreements by collaborating with business, internal IT, licensors and other external partners. This can include re-negotiating software use-rights, transfer of agreements between entities and to communicate to stakeholders how software is allowed to be used. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines, prioritizing under pressure and maintaining a high level of quality and communication, is key.
This is a consultant assignment where you will be employed by Randstad Technologies in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities
Manage vendors to extract maximum possible value from a contractual arrangement through governance and relationship building.
Internal stakeholder management, including business functions, IT Product Teams, Purchasing, Legal, Security, External partners and Vendors.
Provide legal, technical and financial insights of the software license agreements to all stakeholders.
Support vendor selection and RFI / RFQ processes alongside Purchasing, negotiating terms and conditions.
Together with the rest of the SAM-team, drive the development of the Software Asset Management processes and license management systems.
Report to Head of Digital Ability & Engagement via our IT Asset Expert.
Qualifications
Extensive working experience of Software Asset Management
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills and ability to interact with a global group of IT and business people
Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions
Good supplier relation- and negotiation skills
Experience of one or more SAM solutions (preferably OpenIT)
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders
Pragmatic, accurate, analytical, structured and efficient
Self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude and a passion for customer happiness
Able to influence colleagues to align with SAM processes
You are fluent in Swedish and English
