hela Sverige The Order to Delivery (O2D) department within Scania IT is responsible for developing and managing IT support systems within Scania's entire flow from customer order to logistics, production, delivery and invoicing, as well as industrial maintenance. The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) organisation responsibility is to supply MES application support to Scania's production. We are also a key player when Scania takes the next step into Industry 4.0 and IIoT.
The group, which currently consists of around 18 people: maintenance managers, test managers, testers, developers, business analysts and software architects, that supports Scania's production operations in Sweden, Europe and Brazil. As use of our MES application APRISO is increasing, we are now seeking a software architect.

Your responsibilities
As a software architect with the MES team at Scania IT, you will be part of an organisation that works on both global implementation projects and maintenance of our MES application APRISO.
Your responsibility as a software architect is to structure and design the software so that it meets customer requirements while also ensuring that the solution is manageable and reusable. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the solutions developed are cost-effective and follow Scania's strategy for maintenance solutions that can be reused.
Our aim is to undergo automated testing for as many of our functions as possible. As software architect, you will be responsible for an effective integration between developer and tester.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree. This should be complemented by experience either as senior developer with experience from developing MES applications that would like to take the next step to be Software Architect or as a junior MES Software architect that wants to develop together with us.
You shall have experience from manufacturing and it's an advantage if you have knowledge about discrete manufacturing. Furthermore we also expect you to have experience of design work for example, process, information, use case and requirement models, etc. in accordance with the UML standard. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English, our company language.
