The department Active Safety consists of over 400 ambitious and skilled engineers and is responsible for all the way from research and advanced engineering to industrialization of current and future customer offers. The department is responsible for the Product Stream Autonomous Drive and consists of four Agile Release Trains (ART).

We are now looking for a Software Architect to our ART Autonomous Drive Function, Software & Sensor Platform, in the development team designing the ECU SW/HW platform for our self-driving cars. You will be part of a dynamic and global team that creates the foundation for the autonomous drive development. What you will do
You will focus on managing and securing the development of the software architecture in our autonomous drive system. You will work in close collaboration with our system architects, software developers and the suppliers. You also actively contribute to build-up of experience within the team, by participation in the development of technology strategies within the area of architecture. As Software Architect you will:
* Manage the software architecture design in collaboration with the development teams both in-house and at external partners
* Design software architecture that meets the requirements in terms of quality and safety goals
* Create design specifications of the software architecture to guide software engineers in requirements engineering and implementation
* Lead technical design reviews, both internal reviews and supplier reviews
* Be a technical guide and coach the development team engineers in topics related to the architectural domain
What you bring in
To successfully contribute in this position we see that you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
* M Sc or B Sc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
* Experience of software architecture & design in complex embedded systems, preferably in the automotive business
* Experience from working in an agile team as either Product Owner, Scrum Master or developer is meritorious
* Experience from working in a structured development process in an international environment
* Experience of AutoSar and ISO26262
* Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing
* Driver's licence (B)
