Our IT department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Software Application Engineer.
Description
This organization is responsible for IT Development and Support to Product Development and Engineering. You will be part of a team of four application engineers working very tight with the Engineering community, supporting them in developing and maintaining IT systems and applications.
We have a very lean organization which gives you the opportunity to influence both the organization and the product. We are also very open minded for new technical solutions and working methods. We put a great importance to our employee's development and you will be part of an organization breaking new ground regarding Connected Vehicle and Mobility.
Your focus area will be Application Management and System Design for these applications. You will also be part of developing a complete new PLM platform, starting from a white paper. A rather unique and challenging situation and at the same time very developing for you.
Your responsibility will be application development and maintenance plus user support.
Main application areas are:
• Software and Binary repository
• Source code Management (GIT and Jira)
• Software stock
• PDM (System Weaver)
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Relevant experience in the work area, minimum 5 years
• BSc or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of tools: Atlassian Tool Suit (GIT,Jira, etc.), XML, Databases (SQL and Oracle),
• Standard: ISO 26262
• Cutting-edge expertise in a specific field: System Development and Application Mgt.
• Knowledge in Agile processes (eg. SCRUM).
• Knowledge in Vehicle development
• You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
To be successful in the role, you need to:
• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have the ability to plan, prioritize and drive for results.
