The core assignment is to take ConverLightTM Control System to the next level, ensuring an unsurpassed user experience, compatibility and seamless integration with existing infrastructure in architecture and other application areas. The role also includes responsibility for functionality and development of ConverLightTM Test System.
Tasks and responsibilities include, amongst others
ConverLightTM Control System
Design ownership
Ensure compatibility and seamless integration with existing Building Automation Systems
Facilitating installation of Control System into buildings at customer site with a Plug and Play concept
Develop requirement specifications with input from customer requests
Develop control systems for new applications and products
Continuously maintain, develop and improve Control System's functionality, such as user interface, remote control, service routines, data handling, etc.
ConverLightTM Test System
Design ownership
Maintain and continuously improve and develop existing Test System equipment, software and data handling
Manage/Develop field test control system
Job Requirements
Experience from development of embedded systems
Strong programming skills (C++, Labview, Java, Python)
Capable of multi-tasking and establishing strong working relationships in cross-functional teams
Experience from successful development of automation systems is a plus
Fluent in English and Swedish
Master or BSc Engineering
Skilled project manager is seen as a merit
The position requires travelling

ChromoGenics is a leader in dynamic glass with controllable heat- and light transmission. The company's unique electrochromic technology ConverLightTM, provides sustainable solar control with increased indoor comfort and energy efficiency. In 2016 the company started sales and deliveries to real estate projects in Scandinavia.
ChromoGenics is located in Uppsala and the technology is derived from the world leading research center at Ångström Laboratory at Uppsala University. The company has about 20 employees and the main owners are K-Svets Venture AB and New Energy Solutions II K/S. The plant has been partly financed by a conditional loan from the Swedish Energy Agency.
We are looking for a software and electronics engineer for our unique electrochromic technology, ConverLightTM. This important role reports to the CTO and is responsible for the continuous improvement and development of ConverLightTM Control System and ConverLightTM Test System.
