We are looking for a very good SW developer for working with WCDMA layer 2.

You will join a cross-functional team (system, design, and test work performed in the team) developing new features in the Mobile Broadband area.

The position requires good mentoring and communication skills, good knowledge of WCDMA/LTE baseband layer 2 software design using C++ and Rational RSA-RTE.

Development of new Mobile broadband features for WCDMA networks. Competence transfer in the baseband L2 area (uplink and downlink schedulers) to the rest of the members of the team.

The team will be composed of eight engineers, including system engineers, software designers and verifiers. Two of these engineers are experienced baseband L1 designers, and the rest are experienced in control plane. The goal is therefore to reinforce the team with baseband L2 competence and transfer it to the other members of the team, while developing new features.

Competence Requirements
Required
• Bachelor of Science in computer science, or similar degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development for baseband products (WCDMA or LTE)
• At least 3 years of experience in baseband L2 (uplink and downlink schedulers, WCDMA or LTE)
• Good communication and mentoring skills

Requested
• Previous Ericsson experience
• 5+ years of experience in Ericsson WCDMA baseband L2 (in Karlstad or Lindholmen)
