Who is 5.11 Tactical?

They work closely with first responders, tactical operators and people with an active lifestyle, around the globe, who in their daily missions need highly quality, functional and comfortable products. The office in Malmö, headquarters of 5.11 International AB, is responsible for sales and distribution, serving countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
What we are looking for
As a Social Media Manager, you will manage and develop the strategies as well as the direct look and feel of their social media channels. You will be the company's voice towards the world and the caretaker of the growing and closely knit community. You will be responsible for their accounts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) as well as across multiple countries.
Examples of work tasks:
• Manage all communication with 5.11 Tactical's European community
• Create content, plan and post organic posts for their various accounts
• Brainstorming regarding different campaigns
• Stay up-to-date with fast-moving trends
• Weekly meetings with the US Social Media Team, to make sure they are aligned globally
Who we are looking for
At 5.11 International they believe in being highly skillful and having the right mindset, rather than having the "proper" education. However, excellent writing skills in English are a must. Also being skilled in taking photos, creating reels and understanding the importance of right lighting, are needed.
Bonus skills:
• Good writing skills in German
• Have an interest in our products, or the areas of use
• Experience in Illustrator, Photoshop or XD
• Experience of social media planning platforms, like Sprout Social
As a person we believe that you are passionate about creating strategies and understand the importance of how social media is affecting the view of a brand. Preferably you are someone who has a lot of ideas and likes driving them. To fit in this role, as well as the company, you are a humble team player who loves communication, strategy and planning.
