We have over 13 million users all over the world who have logged over 10 million catches in our app. We offer over 80,000 fishing, boating and outdoor products from over 350 brands on our marketplace. We're growing fast, which is why we're now looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team. As part of the marketing team, you will get hands-on experience and be able to contribute to the success of the business in a meaningful way.
This is a paid, 6 month internship, with the possibility of permanent employment after the term of the internship. This role is remote-friendly and can be based in the US or Europe.
What You'll Be Doing:
Work alongside the Social Media Manager to create a plan for social media strategies monthly
Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs and products
Assist in the growth of Fishbrain by raising awareness through various social media platforms
Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the businesses campaigns
Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social platforms
Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on Fishbrain's social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and in app.
Wish List
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.
Creative mindset.
Ability to work in a team.
Prior experience with marketing or social media.
Fluent in written and spoken English, preferably US English
Interest in the fishing industry or outdoors is a plus
