Job Purpose
The SOC Analyst & IT Support Technician is a dual-role position responsible for providing top-tier IT support while ensuring the security of the organization's IT systems. This role is split equally between delivering front-line technical support and monitoring security threats. The individual will play a key part in delivering an exceptional user experience, resolving IT issues, and enhancing cybersecurity resilience to protect organizational assets.
Main Responsibilities
Serve as a first- and second-line Support Technician within the Service Desk, providing timely and effective support.
Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents as part of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
Actively respond to IT security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing mitigations.
Deliver a high level of service to meet customer satisfaction goals and improve overall user experience.
Assist in hardware rollouts, office moves, and other technical projects within the organization.
Maintain knowledge bases and best practices for both IT support and cybersecurity operations.
Ensure compliance with information security policies while troubleshooting IT and security issues.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support IT infrastructure and cybersecurity objectives.

Main Tasks
Provide IT support, resolve technical issues, and log service requests via ticketing systems.
Monitor security tools and respond to security alerts, performing analysis and mitigation of threats.
Conduct office visits for hardware deployment, maintenance, and project support.
Perform root cause analysis for technical issues and security incidents.
Track, manage, and report on incidents, ensuring quick response and resolution.
Contribute to the development and implementation of security and IT policies and procedures.
Maintain and update cybersecurity tools, conducting regular vulnerability assessments.
Support and train colleagues on IT and security best practices.

To ensure a secure and efficient IT environment by delivering outstanding user support and mitigating security risks. The role aims to maximize employee satisfaction and system security through prompt response to support requests and threats, aligning with both IT and security process goals.
Location
On-site requirement in our main office in Stockholm
Requirements
Masters degree in Information Security and Bachelor in Managment Information Systems
1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC monitoring, or IT security roles.
1-3 years of experience working within a Service Desk
Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
Use of FreshService ticketing system for incident handling
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Knowledge of incident response and forensic methodologies.
Experience with threat intelligence platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools.
Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE and Commvault backup
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
