hela Sverige Sandvik Materials Technology are seeking candidates for a unique career opportunity as a Finance Trainee in the SMT Finance Rotation Program. This position is based in Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
The SMT Rotation Program is a one-year program that provides an excellent foundation of SMT?s finance and business operations. During the program you will develop your competence and gain valuable experience by working with demanding projects in different global SMT locations. Hands-on work, as well as networking within our global team are key elements of the program. The main purpose of the program is to develop future management and business controllers for SMT as well as to offer an interesting and challenging position for high potential employees and graduates.
The SMT Rotation Program consists of different elements, from job rotation placements to classroom training. As a participant you can expect challenges, new experiences and personal as well as professional growth during the program. The program starts at our head quarters in Sandviken, Sweden with an 11 week period of general training, where you will learn about SMT, our products and manufacturing and our way of working in finance.
The largest part of the program consists of job rotation modules. Working with a partner, each participant undertakes three modules that last for two months each. To ensure that trainees have the best possible understanding of our operations, each module takes place in different product or sales units. Each module consists of hands-on work alongside the local staff, as well as a project. During these modules you will also create a network within our global organization.
When you've completed the training program, you'll be positioned for a career within SMT in an area of finance that you have learned about, depending on your skills and interest, and SMT?s openings.
Your profile
We are seeking a diverse group of participants with a good mix of culture and gender.
We are looking for candidates who have recently graduated from university or have a few years of working experience. You hold a Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or Business. Bachelor?s degree is acceptable with relevent experience.
You are highly motivated, eager to learn and develop yourself and have leadership potential/interest. You must have excellent communication skills in English and Swedish both written and speaking. As a person you are a good team leader/builder and adapt easily to new working environments and ways of working. You have cultural awareness, are geographically flexible with self confidence and good relationship building skills. Furthermore, you are a person with drive, ambition, are accountable and take ownership of your responsibilities.
