In order to further strengthen our R&D department we are now looking for a Test Engineer
The Test department is responsible for system and integration testing of Polystar OSIXs products. It is a creative job, and it affords many opportunities to shape the way the team works. You would be actively involved in ensuring the quality of our deliverables and systems. You will work in smaller agile teams together with developers, following a new functionality from its requirement to a system tested release.
We already have a very strong and competitive product portfolio, and it is our ambition to become even stronger and more competitive in the future.
Among your tasks would be:
• Requirement analysis
• Test planning, test design
• Creating and maintaining test environments, either in-house or at external testing facilities
• Performing manual tests as well as developing automated test suites
• Documenting the results and deviations of the executed tests
• Assisting in the development of internal routines for increased quality and efficiency
We would like you to have:
• A genuine interest in testing
• A background in testing and development, and at least five years of experience
• Sound or expert knowledge of one or more of these technologies:
• Linux
• MySQL
• Scripting/Perl
• Java
• Sound or expert knowledge of data and/or telephony protocols
• A sound knowledge of both Swedish and English
• A highly motivated and positive attitude towards solving problems
• A structured and professional method of working
