As an SRE, your knowledge and passion about infrastructure makes you a vital link between what we want to achieve and how it's actually done. We strongly believe in automation and pragmatic technology choices to be able to run as quickly as possible.
Example of responsibilities
We are currently looking for two SRE, one to support the game teams and one to our Creative Play platform project. You can read more about our projects here (
https://careers.embark-studios.com/pages/our-projects).As SRE for the games you will be part of the Core Infra team. The team is an innovative backbone building a solid platform of IT, cloud and core infrastructure to enable a reliable and smooth workflow for all parts of our business. Today the team consists of seven employees with different competencies such as networking, cloud infrastructure and IT.
As SRE in the Creative Play project you will be part of the platform team, now consisting of 5 backend, infra and rust engineers. You will be a vital part of taking the project live and enable smooth collaboration between developer and users; continuously expanding our live services.
Our backend systems are built in Go and Rust.
We would love if you have some of these
• Fluency in English
• The ability to be a great team player with great communication skills
• Experience building infra tools and workflows for teams
• Experience working with cloud based infrastructure
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Terraform, Bazel, Go or Rust
• Experience working with observability and metrics
• A passion for interactive experiences, games and new technologies
