All about the role:

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer/Software Engineer to join a global cross-functional team of engineers building the Connectivity Platform for Electrolux.

By joining us, you will help ensure the services - both internal and external systems - have the characteristics and qualities needed for the intended use. You will work to understand the operational requirements and develop the infrastructure and tools that meet these requirements. You will monitor the performance of the services and refine the management of the infrastructure from both a performance and cost perspective so that it is optimal and always balanced.

What you'll do:

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Support services prior to production through activities like system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Contribute improvements to the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the services once they are live.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• Contribute to our Engineering Platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field;
• 3+ years' experience working with infrastructure/platform engineering in large-scale production service environment.
• Good knowledge in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability.
• Programming skills and a desire to automate everything, in one or more of Java, Python, Go.
• Experience with AWS/Kubernetes is desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience working in international environments with geographically dispersed teams.
