Within a few years time, the product portfolio will consist of a range of customized products for partners globally.
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Nectarine Health you will be part of the Service Operations team responsible for our overall service delivery end-to-end. Emphasis is on reliability, security and feature development.
The cloud based backend is a sophisticated system providing infrastructure for the AI models as well as a data streaming pipeline connecting the data streams from our IoT devices to our customers and end users.
What we do and by that, what you will do:
Our system mainly operates within Kubernetes. Data is streamed from our IoT devices via an MQTT gateway into a Kafka cluster, from where it is sourced by the components that we maintain and evolve.
We expect that a member of our team will work with
• CI/CD deployment process which includes pipeline, Release management and all the component parts, definitions, automations and testing (github, jenkins, Helm, Ansible, Docker).
• Infrastructure includes maintaining our Google GCP environment and container orchestration. Monitoring, reliability and security are primary areas
• On-call support, incident management and advanced L3/L4 partner support.
About you
We are looking for a self-motivated team player for our Service Operations team. You should have at least 5 years of experience and a solid interest in working with our tech-stack. Knowing the entire stack is not a requirement, learning is part of the day to day work.
You have extensive experience from working within the following areas on a daily basis. You understand and know how to configure and maintain the technologies and systems, and you are able to perform advanced fault analysis in the context of the same. You might even hold certifications in key areas, if so - let us know.
• GCP Compute / Cloud SQL / Cloud storage / Cloud DNS / BigQuery / Stackdriver / LB (AWS/Azure can complement or replace GCP in terms of competence).
• Kubernetes
• SQL db
• Kafka
• Linux
• CI/CD deployment - Github / Jenkins / Ansible / Helm / Docker
• Automation - scripting in shell, python.
You also have good and solid experience from working within the following areas on a regular basis. You understand and know how to maintain and how to best use the technologies and systems, and you understand the underlying principles and capabilities of these technologies.
• Certificate management
• Logging aggregation
• Event streaming - Kafka / MQTT
• Abuse management
• Availability / reliability monitoring and reporting
• Datadog / grafana
• Security - PEN testing, CVS management
We expect you to have excellent English communication skills. We are an international team and our corporate language is English.
