As Site Purchaser at Thule Group you are the main point of contact for your dedicated supplier base.
You are to make sure that our overall purchasing strategies are implemented and to lead the supplier agenda covering quality, delivery performance, sustainability and cost development as well as assuring that your suppliers are delivering and performing into our new development projects. As Site Purchaser you will also be leading the site purchasing team activities (together with SQA's and Planning) and setting the direction for supplier action plans. In this position you will drive commercial negotiations and agreement settlements with suppliers in alignment with our category purchasing strategies and in close collaboration with category managers and other internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this position is a driving force with a selling personality. You are a self-motivated and results oriented person with excellent negotiating and decision making skills. Your ability to easily communicate together with your high level of integrity and business acumen are other appreciated ingredients in your personal profile. We expect you to have an academic degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management as well as experience and proven success from operational and/or tactical sourcing in an international environment. Proficiency in English is a given.
The position is placed in Hillerstorp where our development center also is situated, you will be reporting to Purchasing Director Christoffer Havkranz who is able to answer further questions regarding this position, 0370-25690.
