hela Sverige On site you will lead our own employees as well as subcontractors mainly at maintenance shut-downs, upgrade projects and re-builds of recovery- and power boilers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the site work is carried out safely meeting all HSE requirements.
Monitoring and reporting of work progress, quality and site related contractual matters are other important duties. Your extensive experience from site works will also be valuable in sales projects and construction planning and scheduling as well as negotiations with contractors and customers. The job includes also installation advisory for customers' contractors and EPC/EPCM works outside EMEA region.
This is an international position and you can be located in any Valmet location in EMEA.
Who are you?
You have solid background from site or the Energy Business with several years of experience. We see that you enjoy handling many things at the same time and get excited when you can solve customers' problems on a tight schedule. You have good organizing skills and structured way of working.
With your leadership skills you create trust and are able to influence and motivate people on site.
We see that you have a Bachelor or Master degree in technology (or equivalent). Fluent written and spoken skills in English is required and other language skills are considered beneficial. Of course you have good IT skills such as MS Office and AutoCAD.
In order to be successful in this job, you need to be able and willing to travel for site assignments. Travel periods last normally from two days to two months at the time and you can expect to travel 20-30 weeks/year.
