Itinera is one of the main global players in the construction of large infrastructural projects, and civil and industrial buildings and operates in approximately 15 countries. We are currently expanding our activities in Sweden by starting up two new projects building the new Stockholm metro.

As a Site manager for civil works, you are responsible for ensuring the construction stages related to the activities above ground are completed on time and within budget.
Tasks including:
• Supervise and oversee the operational part ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met.
• Review progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers.
• Support the project manager in selecting tools, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct safety inspections, ensuring construction and site safety.
• Make long-term planning of activities into the baseline.
• Check and prepare site reports, designs, and drawings.
• Maintain quality control procedures.
• Assess and minimize risks.
• Produce reports and keep track of paperwork.
• Negotiate contracts and secure permits and licenses.
• Liase with the client, other construction professionals and members of the public.
Requirements and skills
• Knowledge and experience of civil works
• Relevant degree.
• Fluent in both English and Swedish, both written and verbal.
