Casco Adhesives develops, produces, markets and distributes adhesives and resin systems for the wood joining industry. Casco Adhesives is a division within the Business Unit AkzoNobel Wood Finishes and Adhesives, and has operations in Europe, Asia, North and South America. Casco Adhesives net revenues were 220 million euro for 2010 and the number of employees is 810.

In accordance with Seveso regulations we work a lot with Health Safety and Enviroment (HSE) and continuous improvements regarding production, quality and personnel. The site in Kristinehamn has 180 employees.
Responsibilities
• Organization and development of the site and the production processes. Responsibility for the site including, health, safety and environment (HSE), production, personnel, maintenance, quality, investments and cost control. Development of logistics, planning and ERP-systems. Coordination responsibilities to the QHSE-function.
• Work systematically with improvements to achieve our goals regarding HSE, delivery reliability, product quality and cost efficiency.
• Ensure the fulfillment of all legal enviromental rules and regulations.
• Economic responsibility for the activities on the site. Make annual cost budget and work with cost control.
• Ensure the fulfillments of AkzoNobels rules, guidelines and standards. Involved in and responsible for internal and external audits.
• Represent the company in various local networks in Kristinehamn.
• Enable the continuous development of the sites management team. Stimulate teamwork and create a positive working climate. You will have 4 direct reports and the organization includes 180 employees in Kristinehamn.
Key skill requirements
• University Degree in Chemical or Technical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in management responsibilities from the production/process industry
• Good knowledge regarding responsibilities in the HSE-area
• Capacity and skills for good economic control
• Strong in communication and leadership qualifications
• Strong drive to develop the organization and the employees
• Good knowledge in Swedish and English
• Knowledge of ERP-systems.
