You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Responsibility for successful execution/delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement, with on-quality & safety framework of ABB
Serving, on site, as ABB's prime interface with customer, authority, sub-contractors and project site personnel, on all contractual matters
Making sure that all documentations and its handling system are kept in order and latest revision is used for the construction, installation and commissioning work on site
Controlling project cost for the project site work and estimate final cost for the same
Overall responsibility for OHS, Occupational Health and safety on site
Coordinating local accommodation, site facilities, office equipment, petty cash, etc.
Planning project site activities including necessary local resources and milestones
Performing site quality assurance activities according to the Site Quality Plan

Your background
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
Minimum five years' experience with project site as ABB Certified Site Manager
Highly qualified with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types
Experience in Civil Works, Installation and Commissioning
Natural leader and set a good example - both on and off sites
Great interpersonal skills, learning focus and flexibility
Proficiency in English is a must, whereas additional languages are a plus
Ability and willingness to travel - far, often and on short notice
