In 2024, we plan to launch satellites from Esrange Space Center outside Kiruna in the North of Sweden, above the artic circle. Now there is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the preparation and operation of the first European mainland satellite launch site.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Site Infrastructure Engineer you will be part of the design and construction of infrastructure at our orbital launch and rocket motor test facilities at Esrange Space Center. You will primarily work in customer projects where you will be main interface to subcontractors in all phases of the infrastructure construction.
Examples of work tasks:
• work closely with subcontractors to design rocket launch and test infrastructure according to defined requirements.
• work with project managers and contractors to develop construction plans, budgets, and timelines.
• conduct site inspections to identify and resolve any construction-related issues or deviations from plans.
• maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and quality control records.
• collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure project objectives are met.
• communicate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• master's degree in construction related field (e.g. civil engineering) or corresponding work experience.
• professional proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• beneficial with knowledge in Swedish language.
• experience of space related construction (design and establishment) is of great value.

LOCATION
This position is stationed at Esrange Space Center, Kiruna or Solna Strand, Stockholm. If you are located in Solna Strand, frequent travels to Esrange Space Center will be required.
