GM Powertrain Sweden are today working with around 960 employees stated at three sites in Sweden: engine development and engine production in Södertälje, integration- and transmissions development in Trollhättan and production of manual gearboxes in Göteborg
Simulation & Analysis Engineer, Structures (Manual Transmission)
Main work content:
You will work with Finite Element Analysis of both component and transmission system level. We are performing both static and dynamic nonlinear analysis. We are using both ABAQUS, NASTRAN, OPTISTRUCT, and HYPERMESH. As an Analysis Engineer you will work in close cooperation with Design Responsible Engineers and Test Engineers in order to validate the design and to solve technical problems.
Qualifications:
You have a Master Degree in mechanical/structural engineering. It is a merit if you have experience from similar assignments. Furthermore you have skills in expressing yourself orally and in written, both in English and Swedish, you are proactive, act with responsibility and integrity and like to work in multicultural and cross functional environment but you can take independent decisions when necessary.
