THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Simulation & Analysis Engineer Driving Performance, you will analyze fuel economy test results coming from on-road testing, chassis dyno, and complete vehicle simulations. You will perform simulation yourself, develop Matlab-Simulink models, you will also develop a Matlab Simulink post processing tool and the new-development of Python based post processing. Results will be published in ER reports as well as Powerpoint.
Success Profile
Experience - Education
MSc. In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Engineering Physics or Computer Science
Experience - Work >5 years of technical work in relevant areas
Experience in analyzing data and create reporting with relevant information and value to engineering
Ability to communicate with many people and functions using oral as well as other presentation skills
Experience with software development or scripting for data analysis and post processing (Matlab and Python)
Experience with object based programming
Experience building and maintaining Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
Experience working Agile and using JIRA
Experience working with GIT and GIT setup
Experience working with GSP
Experience working with fuel consumption reduction, fuel influencing parameters and drivability assessment
Knowledge
Complete truck knowledge including:
Competitors
Functions
Services
Vehicle performance
Energy management
Fuel consumption influencing parameters
Good understanding how the customers use the products
Good understanding of Vehicle Engineering, Aerodynamics, rolling resistance, weight influencing systems
Good understanding of Powertrain Engineering, combustion, tribology, transmission
Good understanding of electrical architecture, high voltage systems in vehicle applications
Knowledge in Matlab, Simulink, Python, object based programming, GIT, JIRA
Experience - Work
