The team focuses on attachment design for Wheel Loaders as well as supporting the organisation with calculations and simulations. We are a team were we always support and help each other in an open and friendly working environment.
Right now we are looking for a Simulation Engineer
Who are you?
The Volvo Group culture is defined by a set of five carefully chosen values, which include customer success, trust, passion, change, and performance. The values are easy to understand - yet a fundament at Volvo. It is important that you believe our workplace is a good fit for you and we anticipate these values are in line with your own.
In this role as simulation engineer you will work with a combination of dynamic vehicle simulations and CFD simulations of wheel loaders. The models that you develop will be used as a tool to support development of future sustainable machines. Together with different engineers you will build and develop models using Matlab/Simulink and STAR-CCM+. The models will be used to optimize our products, make them more productive, even safer and with lower (or zero) emission.
You will perform simulations and analysis to support different engineering teams. You will collaborate with colleagues in Volvo that drive development of model implementation in machine design. If you see yourself working in an inspiring environment that challenges you to combine your technical skills with a collaborative mindset, then we believe you can be successful in this position.
