Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Simulation Engineer (Vehicle Dynamics Control)!
You will be part of the Software & Controls organization within Powertrain/Chassis. The organization is responsible for requirement setting, design/implementation and testing for Software intense systems in the Powertrain/Chassis domain.
The amount of Software and electronics in modern cars continue to increase and the prognosis is that it will increase even more in the future. A vast majority of new functionality in vehicles includes Software & Controls. A Simulation Engineer (Vehicle Dynamics Control) is involved in all phases of a car project. The role involves:
• Maintain and develop simulation strategy.
• Support the development of vehicle level requirements with simulations.
• Support the development of system and component level requirements with simulations.
• Compare/verify design proposals with simulation results.
• Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
• Maintain and develop simulation environment.
• Anchor the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible management
We are looking for someone who has:
• University engineering education within Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Engineering experience from software intense systems in the automotive industry, preferably within chassis domain, up to 2 years
• Domain knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
• Experience from Real Time embedded Systems
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Driver license B

Terms
National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current Collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
