Welcome to join our Global Product Development Team in Hillerstorp as our next Simulation Engineer.
As a Simulation Engineer at our Global Product Development Center located in Hillerstorp, you will assist our product development department with advanced structural simulations for projects involving Thule's own brands as well as many of the world's leading automotive brands.
As a Simulation Engineer you will have the opportunity to further develop your career together with a great team of highly skilled engineers with a high level of technical expertise and interest for the products that Thule Group develops. You will work with world-class products as well as gaining new knowledge and experiences.
As a Simulation Engineer you will be involved in the development of new products such as equipment for cycling-, water- and winter sports, roof boxes, roof racks, strollers, multi-functional strollers and bags etc.
You will work in a project-oriented organization with tasks ranging from simple static linear analyzes to more advanced non-linear dynamic analyzes. We use some of the market's most common commercial calculation software, LS-PrePost, ANSA, LS-DYNA, MetaPost and MATLAB.
Your profile:
We are looking for someone with a MSc in engineering and a few years of work experience from a similar position, preferably from the automotive industry.
You are attracted by the opportunity to continue your career within the field of product development.
We especially appreciate your attention to detail and your ability to explain complex technical terms to the people around you.
You are a curious person, always keen to take on, and solve, technical challenges together with others. Good knowledge in both Swedish and English is required in this position.

About our Global Product Development Department:
We have over 120 engineers working in our Global Product Development Department and to keep the momentum in successful product development innovation, most of our Product Development functions are in-house, such as project managers, industrial designers, concept-, design-, prototype-, simulation- and test-engineers.
Our team consists of highly skilled and motivated members with a well-balanced variety of experiences. We are a truly global company with an international and multi culturally mixed team. English is the language we use in our daily communication.
