Carton Bottle Platform is responsible for developing and engineering a product portfolio that offers a competitive
alternative to plastic bottles in the Liquid Dairy Product and Juice, Nectar & Still Drinks categories for both chilled and ambient distribution. The product portfolio including Tetra Top? and Tetra Aptiva? Aseptic is a combination of optimalfunctionality and low systems operation cost.
Systems Engineering within Carton Bottle Platform aims to significantly improve virtual engineering capability, especially within the field of packaging material mechanics, in the areas of package performance and machine-material interaction. We are looking for an engineer dedicated to work with mechanical analysis and simulations of packaging material mechanics for both carton-based materials and polymers.
As a Simulation Engineer you will participate in projects that develop new or state of the art
technology, as well as new filling machines and packages.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Plan, perform and document theoretical modelling and simulations
• Continuously improve simulation methods as well as physical verification methods for simulation
• Develop know-how within the field of packaging material mechanics
• Define procedures and tasks to establish an efficient work flow for simulations as an integrated part of all phases of development
You should have around 5 years work experience as simulation expert or mechanical designer, with competence in advanced material mechanics and experience in non-linear numerical methods with tools such as Abaqus is a must.
You hold a M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent, possibly even a Doctoral Degree in Mechanics or related.
Your command of written and spoken English is excellent.
You are methodical and analytical with the ability to combine the practical and theoretical parts of this position. The ability to collaborate with other project members in your work is a key requirement.
