Kongsberg Automotive AB in Mullsjö is part of the Kongsberg Automotive group. The product development within Kongsberg Automotive is subject to global competition, with high demands on our performance. As a Simulation Engineer you will be part of a growing R&D department of approximately 130 engineers located in Mullsjö, Sweden. Our objective is to be in the global frontline of our product ranges. Having global customers and suppliers means a great deal of international contacts. The Driveline Systems Division also has Simulation Departments in Wuxi (China) and Novi (USA).

Department
The Mullsjö Simulation Department is the biggest in the company and has become an even more important part of our global R&D organization and the company corporate Center of Excellence within virtual Simulations.
The current team is consisting of twelve engineers and we continuously try to improve our methods and adapt them to any need from the customers and our design teams.
We have now one open position for applicants who wants to join the Simulation and Analysis Department as a part of our world wide R&D Organization developing products to the automotive industry using front line technologies.
Job profile
As a Simulation Engineer you are responsible for the planning, execution of simulations and reporting. We see the need of senior engineers with the bigger role to improve the capability but also hungry junior engineers with a strong interest to grow with us. Skills like planning and resource management is desired to be able to meet the various demands. You should also have practical skills and technical understanding.
Candidate profile
• M.Sc. or higher degree in engineering.
• Experienced in working in projects.
• Solid theoretical knowledge in FEM, mechanics and or electromechanics and applied skills in technology.
• Able to work in a structured and independent way taking full responsibility of method development to secure and create technical advancement.
• Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude.
• Solution and result driven approach and a positive attitude.
• Committed, self starting, taking responsibility, high focus and interest to improve the day-to-day work.
• Good knowledge of English is required and of Swedish is preferred. Knowledge of other languages such as German, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is also valued.
