SAAB Automobile is now in a strong growth phase and needs to strengthen the simulation group supporting the Interior and Interior Safety department with a Simulation Engineer within strength, stiffness and impact analyses.
Job description
• Data collection and creation of simulations models.
• Perform advanced FE-simulations using "state-of-the-art" virtually tools in the areas of strength, stiffness and impact analyses.
• Communicate result and influence the design.
• Follow the whole development cycle from start to serial production in projects for new cars.
Profile
• Master of Science in Mechanics, Physics or Civil Engineering with a specialization in the FE-method.
• Experience from the automotive industry is a plus.
• Enterprising and result oriented who likes a mutable environment.
• Ability to make decisions and communicate results at all levels.
• Enthusiastic and creative person who works well in a team with high goals.
• Experiences from the analyses tools used at Saab, (Hyperworks, LS-DYNA, Optistruct, Nastran, Animator), is a plus
Fluent in spoken and written English.
The position is for a 12 month temporary assignment with possibilities for an elongation
