Are you a skilled engineer and looking for a way to influence the sustainable transport solutions of the future? At Engine Development we have a vacant position as Simulation Engineer, which will give you the chance to take an important part in solving some of the worlds environmental challenges. What will our future ultra-low emission engines look like? You get to be a part of the journey and decide!
The position
At Combustion System Diesel, we take ideas from research and turn them into feasible concepts, and then carry the concepts into the industrialization process. You will use a variety of simulation tools to evaluate and compare concepts at early stages in projects. The work will to a large extent be carried out in cross-functional constellations, such as performance groups and model creation teams.
Your profile
• You have a Master of Science degree or equivalent in engineering
• You are familiar with Matlab/Simulink and/or GT Suite
• You are fluent in spoken and written English
This position, as for the rest of the team, sometimes requires you to create your own raw data, as well as your own physical model and evaluation tools, because what you do simply hasn 't been done before. Therefore, you must be comfortable with working independently as well as a team member, sometimes in unpaved terrain.
