Role:
Software/Simulation Engineer Location: We are hiring for roles based in either Flekkefjord, Norway, or Stockholm, Sweden, with close collaboration between the two offices.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop and run advanced simulation workflows using the Impetus Solver.
• Engage in both research-driven and industrial simulation projects, particularly within defense and complex engineering domains.
• Serve as project leader on major collaborative initiatives, especially EDF and Eurostars funded projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation tools, algorithms, material libraries (Impetus MARKET), and cloud/GPU infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, academic partners, and international clients.
You Should Have:
• Solid background in computational mechanics, finite element analysis, SPH, CFD-or related simulation domains.
• Familiarity with GPU-based simulation acceleration and software development in engineering applications.
• Strong project management skills, especially in EU-funded frameworks such as EDF and Eurostars.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with readiness to coordinate with international and cross-location teams.
