Simulations are one of our highly prioritised competence areas. We are very aggressive in developing new tools and methods as well as finding new areas where simulations can be used. To continue this work we are now looking for a highly experienced simulation engineer having the skills, the ambition and the power to further develop this area.
Core Responsibilities
As a simulation engineer you will be responsible for the simulation activities related to the engine & exhaust aftertreatment system. Examples of activities that the Simulation Engineer is managing are concept evaluation, combustion development and HW optimisation (for example turbo, camshaft, injectors, etc). You will also support the development of our Engine SW and calibration parameters (Dataset).
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
High ability to plan and structure work
Excellent spoken and written English
Additional language skills are beneficial (German, French, etc)
Travel up to 10%
Minimum Education Required:
PhD or MSc within relevant area (Internal Combustion engineering or similiar)
Very deep understanding of internal combustion engines and exhaust aftertreatment systems
Minimum 10 years of documented experience within engine performance development
Deep experience of GT Power or similar
