Role Summary
Strengthen the backbone of future transport solutions
At Scania, we continuously develop robust and sustainable transport solutions. As a Mechanical Simulation Engineer within Strength Analysis, you will play a key role in securing the structural integrity and long-term durability of our bus platforms. Through advanced simulation and analysis, you will ensure that our vehicles meet demanding performance, safety, and customer requirements in real-world operation.
Job Responsibilities
Developing high-fidelity FEM models
Performing structural, fatigue, and dynamic analyses
Identifying potential failure modes and driving design optimization
Supporting with complete range of simulations, from component installation to complete vehicle
Supporting technical assessments towards body builder
Method development within our technical field
Who You Are
You have a Master's degree in Engineering
You have good knowledge within the field of solid mechanics
You have knowledge of FEM and preferably tools like Abaqus and Hyperworks (meriting)
You have good communication skills and are fluent in English in speech and writing
Coding skills are meritorious
Solution-oriented mindset is important
